Light
Place the plant near an east- or north-facing window for optimal filtered light.
Avoid harsh, direct sunlight to prevent scorching the textured leaves.
Rotate the pot weekly so all sides receive balanced light and grow evenly.
Water and Soil
Water thoroughly when the top 1 inch of soil feels dry to the touch
Use a well-draining, peat-based potting mix mixed with perlite to prevent root rot.
Never let the pot sit in standing water or allow the soil to dry out completely.
Temperature and Humidity
Keep indoor temperatures between 65°F and 75°F, safely away from cold drafts or heating vents.
Support higher humidity levels by using a room humidifier, grouping with other plants, or placing the pot on a pebble tray.
Avoid misting the leaves directly, as trapped water in the deep leaf dimples can cause issues.
